May 10, 2006 - Sony Computer Entertainment is all about HD with PS3... it's HD or die. Not a single one of the company's games on the E3 show floor was running in standard definition. However, last year, SCE essentially came out and said that HD was all about 1080p, and that any system without such a res was essentially not quite next-gen.

I watched on G4 TV WHEN they played it and showed gameplay on TV and I have seen every video of it online. But nothing compares to seeing it live and in action at the theatre. The movie trailer for GOW had the entire crowd cheering and hype. It was neat to see. People showed great interest in it. And it was clearly gameplay from the perspective shown. All I can say is Unbelievable detail, Unbelievalbe smooth gameplay. The excitement is building for this game. I'm actually more excited now after seeing the movie trailer at teh theatre. I have never seen anything like it. It looks like its done. Maybe they are just play testing it from now till it goes gold....

Yeah I saw the trailer in the movie theater...it tripped me out. The whole audience was trippin. It was crazy. It blows away anything I have ever seen on computer/console/ anything. And a lot of it was in game video. You could see someone was actually playing it. I was in a packed theatre and that game got more excitement than the movie previews... Definately neat to witness. The excitement is building with that game. I can't wait.

I stand by what I said. Playing is the best way, then gettin info from the makers of the game is the next best way, then reviews is the 3rd best way, then watching videos is the 4th way that really ain't too good. Screen shots can be an ok way if the screen shots are gameplay.
